Welcome to the UCF Counselor Education Website

Welcome to the UCF Counselor Education website. We have designed this website to be helpful to prospective students, current students, and program alumni. At the bottom of this page, you will find relevant helpful links and important downloads.

The Counselor Education Program emphasizes a holistic approach to counseling. Counselors assist clients in achieving optimal personal, educational, and vocational development. Counselors are proactive "agents of change". To facilitate change, an individual must be fully accepted as a person of worth, dignity, and potential. Counseling assists individuals in understanding themselves, making the most of their own qualities and making their own unique contributions to a multicultural society.
